Winter Project?

Wednesday November 17, 2004

This is the third day of my fast and I didn’t feel well this morning, not exactly faint but just off kilter. I upped the frequency of my juice drinking and had some V8 to improve my electrolytes. If I had Emergen C on hand I would have had that but we don’t. We should put it on the list.

Faol called while I was working on some of the proposals we are working with in the Grok Fellowship, and we talked about my day for a while. I mentioned that I am thinking about making new drapes for our living room because it occurred to me that the textile district in L.A. has stores with incredibly inexpensive fabric. I could purchase what I want out there and mail or ship it home and still save money on it. It would make a nice indoor winter project. Of course, now we have to agree on the color :) I am thinking of Burgundy or Wine. Tom won’t go for red and I am very tired of blue as that is usually the only color he can agree on. My large number of plants already give us a lot of green. I think something in the red spectrum will give a warmer feel to the room.

Faol decided to talk to me outside so that he and I could have a little private time together. I had mentioned to him that while it was fine with me to be on the speakerphone part of the time, I still wanted some private time. It was very thoughtful of him to arrange for it. We did talk some about his frustration with the communication problems that he was having with Joyful and that these same problems had been recurring over and over again. He just doesn’t know what to do about it but is feeling that less time together for a while might help. I feel for them both but he is one of my primary relationships and ultimately he has my support whatever happens between them. I hope they can work things out though as I care about her as well.

Tom and I spent time in the hot tub again. I really needed the relaxation.
