My son, Lebleu, called to say Merry Christmas! It was wonderful to hear from him. I commented to him that while I had seen his verbal patterns online I had not heard his voice in some time. We had a nice long chat before I passed him onto his father. It was very nice. I miss my kids.
I have been feeling disconnected from them lately as we really are not in touch much. I see them online periodically and we chat a bit but it is quite limited.
Tom and I made love for Christmas, which was a lovely gift for both of us. I am behind on all of my gift-getting so didn’t have his gifts yet though I do have one on the way so far. He gave me a very sweet little digital camera. At the moment I am waiting for the battery to charge up so I can play with it. And he tells me we will a much larger memory card for it as well since the one it comes with is only 16 M. I am very pleased with it. Now I don’t have to take ours with me, leaving him bereft for 3 weeks, or leave it here and miss opportunities for photo taking while I am in CA.
Since it is a weekend day it is Tom’s turn to cook dinner. He is making
a wild turkey breast with baked sweet potatoes, yum! I have not gotten dressed
all day so have been warm and toasty in my robe. Actually the temperature
is warmer today and that helps quite a bit.
