A Good Day

Tuesday January 4, 2005

I had a good day today. Faol called before I had even brushed my teeth so we were “together” while I got ready for the day, did my morning exercise session, washed the dishes, and puttered about. We talked long enough for me to start making my lunch even. We had a nice talk about his ideas for a single person plane that is somewhere between an ultra-light and a jet;) with all the details about the motor/engine, which was way over my head.

Later we put the radio on to work to. I got more of the Sweetwood Temenos finances done but ran into more missing data. Jack was really sweet though and as soon as I emailed him he turned around and sent me the scans. About that time my alarm went off for my second exercise session and I pulled myself up off the sofa and actually did it. I have a lot of trouble with flexibility of my legs so have added some toe touches done slowly more as a stretch and today I woke up with soreness in the back of my legs. Hopefully that will pass in a few days.

Later in the afternoon Faol called back. He wasn’t going to work due to pain in his neck. I am sorry that he has so much trouble with it. He told me that it happened as he was talking to someone on the phone but the conversation wasn’t something that should have triggered it. I do wonder if he was experiencing tension due to the person he was talking with though as I have noticed that he has had neck pain several times that began during or after conversations with this same person. If so I hope that he gets past it. It may just be coincidental though.

I made Chiles Rellenos for dinner though it turned out a bit oily. I should look into other recipes for it and see if I can find one that is a bit healthier. It is something that I could make for Faol when I am out there using soy cheese and spelt flour in the batter but I would really like to find a recipe that isn’t fried.
