Fainting Hangover?

Thursday February 3, 2005

I got up at the usual time and worked on email after making tea and my breakfast drink. Thinking that some of the medical personnel on Internest might be able to help me with some ideas about the fainting episodes I posted a description, but as of yet, have not received any info. Faol slept somewhat longer and we got a bath going for him. He and I talked for a bit before he called Joyful. After making his tea and breakfast I washed his belly and back to remove the stencil of my tattoo that had transferred to him in the night :)

While he talked with Joyful I went upstairs and talked with Tom. I gave him the blow by blow description of my tattoo experience. I started feeling rather ill again though while I was talking with him and went and laid down in the bed to finish our conversation. Realizing that I was a little dehydrated from the day before, I got some juice and water. Faol was still on the phone but I let him know that I didn’t feel up to going to the store later since I didn’t think it was a good idea for me to be driving yet. So he needed to get off the phone so we could get water before his work time. His conversation sounded stressful at that point but he wound it up quickly and we headed out.

After getting water we stopped at Echo Park and did one circuit of the lake. I felt better after the exercise but was feeling a bit drained. Faol described it as having a hang over from the fainting the day before. Now we were hungry though, and stopped at our favorite Thai restaurant for takeout – fish cakes and pad thai. At home I got him ready to go to work, vitamins, dinner, and juice set by the door, then dished up our lunch while he tried to get in touch with Raven.

This afternoon I didn’t feel much like doing my exercises so I decided to take it easy. I did a load of towels, did dishes, spent a couple of hours reconciling accounts and am up to November. Then I started dinner, which tonight is glazed carrots (raspberry vinaigrette and honey) and herbed zucchini, onions, and tomatoes topped with soy cheese. Yum!
