One of Those Talks

Sunday February 6, 2005

In the morning when we awoke I told him that we had to talk about last night. And we did. I can’t say we resolved anything. He knew what he was doing when he did it but she seemed more open to him right then, and he wanted to pursue that regardless of his word to me. He knew that I would be hurt but he chose to do it anyway. Also he still intended to talk with her again later that day as he had arranged a time today to talk with her when he was planning on getting off right away. Of course, then he didn’t so he will be spending more time with her today.

We had short intense make-up sex then got ready to go out to meet with a person who was a CAW member before it folded. We met him for brunch. We had a nice talk. I also had lox ‘n eggs with a bagel and cream cheese on the side. It was quite good. We plan on trying to get together with his ritual group for a sabbat now and again if it works out though I think the next one I would be back for is Summer Solstice, maybe.

When we got home again we did some brief work getting the soil uncovered and ready to take out of the truck. Then we went in for Faol to call her again. I called Tom and we talked for about an hour. Then I went down and let Faol know that I thought we should get to work. I went out and continued weeding and in about 45 min. he came out and positioned the truck so that he could fling the dirt out of the truck and into the spot he wanted it. I got a bucket and began filling it with dirt from the front of the truck out of the way of his flinging. When I would get it filled up he would take it and dump it in another place that needed it then return to flinging. Both of us were running down by the time we finished so Faol suggested that we come in and eat. He made dinner for us while I rested and watched tv. We ended up watching a couple hours of tv.

It had been nearly dark when we came in but he still wanted to go out and get the lattice panel set up. So I held the flash light and he measured and marked the panel to cut it down to the size he needed. He used a sledgehammer to get a post holder into the ground and boy was that noisy for late at night. The electric saw was not very quiet either. Eventually we positioned the panel and he screwed it to the posts. The long branches still needed to be taped to the panel but that was for another day. By the time we were done it was after 11 pm and I was quite tired. He went on the computer and after a bit I went to bed.
