I woke up not feeling too well, fighting off the cold Faol is fighting off, I guess. I called Tom first thing in the morning because my user profile seemed to have disappeared last night and I couldn’t log on. It was not a good thing. Kyodai locked up and I had to shut down. When I restarted I apparently mistyped my password and it locked me out immediately. I waited awhile then restarted again and my name disappeared from the list. Sigh… Anyway I called Tom this morning so he could give me his password since he has an account on my machine but when I brought my machine up it was back and seemed fine.
We ended up spending the morning online each of us surfing our own interests while Faol also talked on the phone. By afternoon Faol wanted to get moving so we went out to a Nursery and picked up two pyracantha bushes then over to a Garden Sculpture store next door to it. Wow! What a cool place! I love all the potentials. There were all the usual tall garden Gods and Goddesses as well as a host of Buddhas. There were many fountains of all sizes and garden picnic tables of polished rock. They were gorgeous and varied from about 2500 to 4500 dollars. They also had very cool rocks taller than Faol and naturally shaped, some with veins of crystal. I wish I could get them but even if I could afford them the shipping would be ridiculous. Somehow we ended up spending all afternoon driving and looking. We stopped at a Del Taco for a late lunch.
Back home again we both went back to our computers. Faol suggested that we
go out since I had wanted to rent a movie. But it was time for dinner, which
he made, and then he was back on the computer as was I. Eventually I started
a bath and had just got in when I heard him talking to the video store to
see how late they were open. He came in and read to me from the book we are
reading. When I was done we headed out to rent the remake of Planet
of the Apes which we are watching now, Sky
Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and Shall
We Dance. They should be fun.
