Working on SweetWood

Friday February 18, 2005

Back home again, I got up late, and did my morning exercises. Faol called and said something that hurt me. I was depressed when I got off the phone. Trying to catch up with the Sweetwood financial records I spent time doing them and finally got them up to date. Faol called later to talk about something and we ended up touching on the thing that hurt me earlier, so I was depressed again.

I was so caught up in the Sweetwood stuff that I never did my second exercises. Then I began working on our answer to some of the IRS questions sent to us to clarify our 501c3 application. Sigh… This includes 14 points used to determine whether we are a church or not. These are based on the Big three approach to religion and so are annoying but I have largely worked my way through them in a way that I think will be acceptable. I have some materials to collect to attach with them, and of course, my responses need to go to the BoD for editing and any rewriting that we might deem necessary as do the responses of other BoD members to other questions. There are 18 some questions counting these 14 points as one question.

Suddenly it was after 7 pm and I had not yet cooked dinner. I put fish and spinach together pretty quickly though. Tom moved Vivre Draco’s tv so it faced the kitchen and I watched Joan of Arcadia while I worked. I commented that I felt so decadent watching tv while cooking. It is also a good thing that it was a simple meal or it might have interfered with remembering what I had done.
