Faol hurt his back and stayed home. I got his stuff ready while he was on the phone with a new woman in his life. I tried to give him the sign so he knew he had to get moving but he told me he wasn’t going and put his arm out for me to cuddle up against him while he talked. But because he wasn’t going in we arranged to meet with her for dinner when she got done with work.
Shortly after that there was a loud crack. I looked about and discovered that the olive oil bottle had broken and all the oil spilled out. It dripped down the shelves into the toaster and on all the other stuff there and on to the floor. Faol was great though and did most of the cleaning up of the floor and found all the glass.
We spent much of the day watching tv then watched the rest of Dune. I got a load of laundry done to start cleaning up for Cinnamon’s visit. She is allergic to cats so I am washing all the bedclothes.
Cheryl called and Faol arranged for her to come pick us up because he had to take meds for his back and couldn’t really drive. It was dark and I don’t have good night site let alone doing the L.A. driving thing. She seemed like a nice woman. We went to the local restaurant/coffee shop the Brite Spot again. I had the grilled tuna diet plate, which included cottage cheese and fruit. Faol had the veggie blt. He really enjoyed getting to have that kind of sandwich again since it was made with veggie bacon. Then he finished my tuna so we didn’t have any to bring home.
When we got home she dropped us off and left because she was so tired. Faol
and I went in and he started a movie on tv. His back was still pretty bad
so we slept on the bed downstairs as it is firmer. I was too tired to stay
up so went off to bed right away. He shut the pocket door between the rooms
so the tv wouldn’t keep me up.
