Cinnamon Arrives

Saturday April 2, 2005

We went to meet with the accountant expecting to hear from Cinnamon that she was at the airport in the middle of the appointment. Cinnamon called but we were pretty much done so we left and picked her up at Burbank. We went home to drop off her suitcase while Faol played with her a bit. Out to the Brite Spot again for lunch, I had the veggie burger yum; Faol had the soy chorizo something or other.

I took his card to the register to pay and the owner recognized me from the first time we were in. That was nice. We took a walk around Echo Lake and Faol suggested renting a paddle boat. He and Cinnamon started paddling but he quickly got cramps from not being able to extend his legs as he peddled. So we went back to the dock and I changed places with him to paddle. It isn’t much different than riding the exercycle really so it was no problem for me. It was rather peaceful though despite being a park in the city. We watched the birds and paddled around the fountain getting some of the spray and watching the lovely rainbow shift position due to our traveling. As we came around and headed toward the bird island all of a sudden many birds launched from the island and flew towards us and up. They circled around the middle of the lake and flew through the fountain spray. I loved watching them. Finally the 1/2 hour was up and we headed back to the dock. It was a fun time and I hope we do it again some time.

Once home again Faol and Cinnamon went upstairs to spend some focused time together and I called Tom intending a nice long chat only to find that I was sleepy from our little adventure and too dull-headed to think of much to say. Of course that means that we only talked for 40-45 min. not an hour or longer. Having just finished my Holosync meditation I am still feeling sleepy. Perhaps a little nap would be in order.

Later Faol and I worked at getting him credit reports, downloading, saving, going through them. When we were done he and Cinnamon got ready to go out for the evening. I had discovered that I was just too tired to go but of course, then I felt a bit funky about missing out on the experience.
