I woke up early but was very tired since we didn’t get to sleep til after 3 am. Luckily I managed to snuggle down into the covers and cuddle up to Faol and slip off to sleep again until 10. Yay! After making tea and breakfast I woke him up so we could get ready quickly and head out. We arrived at the theatre, one we had not been to before, at least together. The screen was higher up on the wall than was comfortable but once we got into the movie it didn’t seem to be a problem. This theatre would not be my first choice though. We saw The Pacifier with Vin Diesel. I expected something like Kindergarden Cop and there were definitely similarities but I didn’t find the humor quite as broad or slapstick though that element was certainly there. We had a great time. One of the things I like about us together is how well we do movies. I know that sounds a bit odd but movies are something that we share more actively. We look at each other to find the other is misty eyed or crying at the same things. We whisper to each other comments about what we are seeing or thinking will be happening. And the shared enjoyment often leads to more intimate conversations about our relationship, or hopes, and expectations.
We got home in time for Faol to get ready for work without having to rush. He even had time to make a couple of quick phone calls. We will have to remember the theatre. It may not be the best set up but it is one of the few near by that have early enough start times for us to do a movie during the week.
The rest of my day went well. When I called Tom he was just on his way home from a business meeting so he called me back later. I had time to do laundry and have lunch. I collected the garbage, did the cat box, and took the garbage out to the street while we chatted. After our conversation I finally got Faol’s mortgage account in Money set up right – he had me set it up for bi-weekly then decided not to do that when he discovered there was a $300 fee for it! I had to set up another account, go in and edit all the payments so that they were categorized for the new account instead of the other one, then delete the previous one. And I entered about half of the February receipts. Hopefully the extra week here this trip will help me to get caught up with the accounts, the filing, etc. There are really quite a few things I would like to see get done this trip like another load of soil and the lattices and pyracantha bushes in the front yard, meeting some of his friends that he hasn’t seen in quite a while and I have never met, going through his clothes and separating out the ones that he could get rid of, finding a cabinet for my altar things when I am not here. I have already been here a week and we have not done much. So it is definitely time to get organized if we are going to get things done.
The Solar Eclipse in Aries is just a few days away. I wonder what that will
bring.
