Date with Korina

Faol and I got some work done in the morning. He took out most of the wall between the bathroom and the new bedroom. Then I cleaned up to join Korina for a few hours at the Korean Spa, Century Spa. It was a delightful experience. We arrived, signed in, which gave us access to the locker area and hot tub/steam room section. There was a very hot mugwort tea bath, a normally hot tub, and a cold tub as well. The open showers for rinsing off before getting in the hot tub had shampoo and soap dispensers. I really liked that no one was clothed. This is not a co-ed spa.
We signed up for the body scrub and after about an hour soak my number was called. Having never done this before I didn’t know what to expect. Due to the heavy Asian accent, which I am assuming was Korean but really don’t know, I was a little unsure what she was saying to me but did my best to follow directions. We started out with me lying on a padded bench with a towel to put my face in. She vigorously scrubbed my backside from top to bottom with some kind of very rough mitt and polishing soap. It was amazing how much skin collected around me. Periodically she took a bowl of very warm water and sluiced the table and me. After a while she had me turn on my back and repeated it all. Then each side was also done. When that was done satisfactorily she washed my hair, mostly I think to get the skin of my scalp, soaped me up and rinsed me off, and I was done. It was an amazingly relaxing procedure though my skin was feeling the burn. Afterward we spent some more time in the hottub but our skin was so much more sensitive that it felt much hotter this time.
I really enjoyed spending the girl time with Korina. We chatted about her stuff and my stuff in the car on the way, while we were in the hot tub, and in the car on the return drive. She let me know that she considered me a friend and was more interested in seeing me than Faol, which made me feel pretty good as most of my friends out there are friends of Faol's but accept me as being with him.
The attendant had asked me if I wanted the $25 massage after the scrub. I turned it down because the soak in the hot tub and body scrub already cost me $45 but I wished I had done it after all. Ah well. I would love to go back some time. It feels sinfully luxurious to me to spend money on that but heavenly.
There was also an enlarged area in the hall with mirrors and make-up lighting, hair dryers, q-tips, facial tissue, etc. I noticed that many of the women sat around talking with friends in the locker room, comfortably nude, or wandered about from hot tub to shower, to mugwort bath, to shower, to steam room, to shower, chatting with a friend. I am so glad that Korina thought of it. What a treat!
When I got home Faol was still on the phone. He was surprised to see me back so early. It turned out that Korina had over-filled her time and had a date so we didn’t go out to dinner as we had planned. Faol got off the phone shortly after I arrived but wanted to make one more call since he had scheduled the time with the woman so I told him it was fine with me and went to chat with Tom. He finally got off the phone about the time that I finished the dishes after my call and before I had to point out the time to him. It turned out that he talked with 6 different women in a 5+ hour period.
We watched a little tv, had dinner, and got back to working on the house
although by then it was rather late.
