A Lovely Day

It is Faol’s day to call Joyful so after we woke up a bit late, and got up, and got his bath going, and talked for a little while, he did. I got breakfast and tea for us both. Leo came and worked on the bathroom again. I can’t wait for it to get done.
Somehow the day went quickly and Faol was ready to go off to work only he didn’t make it. He would have been late and that is apparently unacceptable as he would get written up, and that would affect his job. I think a job situation where it is better to take an illness day than be late isn’t very good. I told him he should take a mental health day when I saw how upset he was about it. Truthfully his back was not doing all that well either.
Anyway we ended up going to the movies to see Hitch after going to East for Salmon Monday, yay! It was a fun movie, romantic and funny. Will Smith was good. We had a good time, then went shopping, and rented a couple of movies. When we got home we were going to watch one but Brave New World, the one with Leonard Nimoy, was on the SciFi channel so we started watching that instead. Saille' called Faol and they chatted for a bit. My first thought though, when he answered the call and started to talk, was that I couldn’t even have a whole day with him without him spending time on the phone with another woman. But I put it out of my mind and went back to watching tv. It turned out ok because they only talked about 20 min. and not the several hours that is typical for him.
When he was done we watched a little longer but he was quite tired and I
pointed out that we don’t have to watch it. We could go to bed without
finishing it :) So we did but once in bed he suddenly wasn’t so tired
and we had a wonderful time, better than usual. It was a lovely way to end
a lovely day together.
