A Work Day

We worked in the morning again, intending to work in the soon-to-be bedroom but he started a little project dealing with the plaster that was in buckets outside from past working on bathroom. I collected more of the leaves and filled the yard waste can. I picked up some of the wood laying about and stacked it in the burn pile. We managed to fill the time with little things that needed doing until time for Faol to go to work.
Almost immediately after he left Joyful called and we talked for about 4 hours while I did the laundry, dishes, and tried to do the finances but for some reason his monitor kept going into the power saving mode and I couldn’t get it to come up. It was very annoying.
Afterwards I started dinner and 2 ½ hours later I haven’t yet
eaten as it is still cooking. Part of the reason it took so long was I remembered
in the middle that I hadn’t yet watered the avocado tree so had to go
out and unwind the hose from the yard and get that set up, check the last
laundry load, and go back and forth between the rerun of the Dune
Miniseries and the kitchen. I am enjoying a glass of wine while I wait
for dinner.
