No Alone Time
Monday April 18, 2005
Today we both woke up late. After talking a bit and a phone call to Raven we went back to bed. I finally got out of bed around 11:30 and called Tom. Faol wanted to sleep a bit longer and then go out to brunch at the Brite Spot. I had a veggie burger and he had the veggie meatloaf sandwich. We got home in time for him to call Cheryl to tell her he enjoyed their date and then off to work.
After he left Foamy called and we talked for about an hour. He seems like a very nice man and I enjoyed the conversation. Then I worked on the finances and did some filing. I cleaned up the cat shit in the front yard. The next door neighbor's cat is using it as a litter box and I don’t like it. We tried sprinkling cayenne powder but that didn’t seem to work. Today I tried sprinkling pepper there. We will have to see if that works.
Later Leo called and wanted to come work on the house. I was surprised but he said that he told Faol and Faol told him just to call first to make sure that I was here. So he is still here working on the soon-to-be bedroom at almost 10:30 pm. It would have been nice to have the day to myself as I was feeling the need for some alone time but at least I had a few hours and he isn’t interacting with me. But all the construction noises are not conducive to relaxation.
It is Stargate Monday on the SciFi channel so I was able to watch that while
doing the exercycle and the rest of my exercises.
