Day on the Phone

In the morning Faol called Joyful but she wasn’t home so he went on to Melissa and talked with her for over an hour. We went to LA Hall of Records to try and find the case number and/or the divorce degree for Faol’s divorce from his first wife. It took considerably less time than we thought giving us time to stop at Erlander’s for his cotton socks but they were not open. I worked on his finances, talked with Tom, and called xewe but she didn’t answer. She called me back later and I took a break from reconciling. A bit later Joyful called and I took another short break. Finally Cheryl called and I gave up the reconciling for tomorrow. She called to tell me how much she admired me for walking the walk in regards to poly and not just talking the talk. I was quite surprised, and of course flattered. I have been making an effort to reach out to her, get to know her, and compromise on finding time for Faol to get together with her for a date. We talked about a lot of things from her perceptions about how great I am (grin) to Faol and her feelings about what is happening between them to our own past experiences and feelings. It was a good conversation. At some point I noticed that we had been on the phone for 4 hours and told her. She didn’t believe it and went and checked the time – 10:00 pm. But another topic came up and then Faol was home. I asked if she wanted to speak with him and we ended up talking with her together on speaker for another 20 min. when she thoughtfully said she would get off to leave us to spend time together. So the conversation was 5 1/3 hrs long. Wow!
Faol and I watched a bit of tv. I got us a snack, then got him another snack
and tea before going to bed. He came up shortly.
