A Fun Day!

He got home about 7 am and we talked briefly then went back to bed. I got up and did my usual morning things including taking another bath and talking with Tom. Faol got up around 1 pm and looked into the Walt Disney Concert Hall on the web as we were going to go and take a look at it. It is a very strange looking building, something like shiny steel decoration on a cake or a weird looking hat. We had a good time walking about on the roof level, which had gardens and sweeping views. I took a number of pics and that was fun too.
We were both rather tired though and settled down for a nap until Foamy arrived. Well except for the attempting by Faol to fix the network problem we were having. In the process the network went out so we just went to sleep. Later after Foamy arrived he worked on it and we found out the cable modem got unplugged but things were still out. Eventually though it finally got fixed though we had to update things, which wiped out our settings and the lengthy security key. After figuring that out and re-entering it we were good to go and are no longer stuck on the same channel anymore. Yay!!!
So we headed out to Juliano's Raw Food Restaurant rather late. I spotted a long pony tail that looked like a friend of our's. I pointed it out to Faol and sure enough it was Robert so we ended up waiting a long time for a joint table. I had the mango crepes, and we ordered a couple of appetizers, the Japanese platter for three and the hummus and chips. They brought us enchiladas by mistake, which we ate not knowing it wasn't part of our order as all the food seemed unusual. It was all yummy but expensive for small amounts but supposedly plenty of food since raw and alive. We had a good time and Robert gave me a hair appointment for Tuesday morning before his regular appoinments since he was booked.
Afterward we passed a bowling alley and we mentioned not having done any for a long time. So Faol suggested we stop to bowl. I haven’t bowled in many years, but what fun. I did poorly in some ways but not so bad for my physical conditions, and got better as I went. I only picked up one spare but I did pick up that one. I would like to go again but next time wear by wrist braces and Faol his back brace.
We didn’t make the club we had been going to so had to call Cheryl
and let her know since she was expecting to see us there (she was not going
to meet us as she was going anyway). I called her cell but she couldn’t
hear much except we weren’t making it. Then I went to bed.
