Joyful mowed the circle area and people began to arrive. One of them, arrived without the full amount of the donation, and said he was willing to make up the difference in work. I was not pleased because I felt it was manipulative to come without letting me know about it ahead of time. I let him know how I felt then put him to work mowing the smaller circle area as partial work exchange. Tom and I mowed the cauldron area, then raked it, and he also helped with that. We had sprayed the poison ivy earlier then they were mowed. I hoped raking would reduce the amount of poison ivy leaves that had been cut into little tiny pieces and spread around. Eventually we finished getting things ready and were able to relax.
Later I spent some time around the fire but not for long as Tom and I went
in the hot tub and then went to bed.
