A Day of Chores

Faol woke up at about 3 am and was up for a bit. I woke up and we ended up talking for some time then going back to bed and talking more. He eventually went to sleep and I listened to him breathing and snoring slightly due to the cold we are both getting over. When he got up again at 6:30 am I had not made it back to sleep again. By the time I finally pulled myself out of bed he was in the bath and I sat talking with him for over an hour before getting around to making our tea and breakfast.
The day seemed to have gone by pretty quickly. I did some warm up exercises for the first time since we got sick. Faol gathered up his clothes for me to wash and went through his pile of clothes on the downstairs bed, separating them into clean to put away and dirty to wash. We watched some tv. I did dishes. We went out to get some lumber, fill the water bottles, and pick up a few other things. When we got home he started setting up a temporary contraption to put up a rod for a shower curtain. Then went out to Leo’s house for a load of dirt for the yard. Leo and a friend loaded the dirt into the truck for Faol, though he did some of the shoveling to try and push his arm. He was quite tired when he got home though. This cold seems to have taken a lot out of us both.
While he was gone I folded the laundry and entered receipts. Tom worked in
Madison today so I couldn’t call him until later in the afternoon. Just
as we were getting off the phone I had to go to the bathroom, and experienced
quite a bit of pain. After that I started drinking a lot of water and I swear
I had to go about every 15 minutes. I am pretty uncomfortable. Faol went back
out in the evening to get me Cranberry juice. Hopefully it will head the UTI
off.
