Faol went out to an auction house to have his signed-by-the-artist Batman Poster appraised and I stayed home to pack. I didn’t get it all done before he was back but I did get a lot of it done. He planned on going out to deal with his paperwork for returning to work and thought to leave me home but I thought he might be gone a long time and I was nearly done with the packing so I went out with him. My shoulder blade had begun to hurt and seemed to get worse in the car. Faol thought that the person he needed to see would be out to lunch so he decided to take us out to the Frying Fish for sushi. Yum! That was so sweet of him as I had mentioned to him that next time I was out I really wanted to go there and he found time for us this trip.
Once we got to the appropriate office we waited, then got a form, took it
to next office, waited while it was filled out. Then we were off to the medical
center for a company Dr. to check him out and clear him for going to work.
We waited again. He finally got the exam and the Dr. tried to convince him
that he might not be ready to go back to work, even discussing Faol’s
old back injury. But finally we had the signed form to go back to work, and
took it back to the first place. It took something like 4 hours. Afterward
Faol surprised me by taking me to see Herbie
Fully Loaded. It was a fun movie, hitting all the notes that the other
Herbie movies have, fighting against the odds, the little car against bigger
or newer ones, a romance, and good triumphing over evil. We had a good time.
