It was very frustrating trying to scan some tax documents so I could print out a worksheet. We don’t use it much so it was unplugged and on a shelf. My shoulder was acting up again so it was awkward to half climb under the desk to plug it into the power strip there. Then unplug the cord from the printer and feed it back through the desk and out to where it would reach the scanner. I scanned the various pages and saved them to the server. When I went to print them out though it became apparent that I didn’t have a choice to print them in black and white instead of black on the blue background of the jpg. Arggh! So Tom played with graphic programs to fill the blue with white and finally after some time I was able to print out a simple black and white copy to use to make a practice copy with the various figures. I had originally thought of filling it out on the computer but that seemed like it would take more time than I wanted to bother with. Now I am not so sure that it would have taken any more time than it ended up taking after all.
Faol called and we chatted while I made cornbread and husked corn for the potluck dinner we were sharing with friends. They arrived while we were still talking but he got off immediately when I told him they were at the door.
We had a very pleasant evening of visiting, some ritual, sharing food, talking,
and I got a Thai Massage on my leg (heel tendon was hurting). It was really
nice to catch up with some of our friends.
