I actually got going a bit, for a change. I did all my exercises, put away the camping gear from my visionquest, and rearranged the closet so it actually all fits, did the dishes, took down the tent (hope it doesn’t stop the rain), and spent some time filling out a report for the Dept. of Regulation and Licensing that Jack sent me. After some time working on it I realized that we didn’t have to fill it out even though Sweetwood did have over a specific amount of income but membership dues don’t count for the total so we had considerably less than that in donations. Ah well… I did get all of the Freedom Fest checks entered and considering that Jack held all the June checks as well and I got everything at once I still managed to get it all entered. It took all afternoon though. I would really prefer just to have the scans of the checks as they come in so I can do a little at a time and can see it for myself. Kim went to a lot of trouble to put a list together with all the info that I needed. It was very carefully separated out into the various categories and subtotaled then totaled. It didn’t include the date of the checks, though. Afterward I was pretty tired.
I made a quick dinner of leftovers from our dinner out yesterday and added the last large corn on the cob from Monday’s dinner, then threw in some soy chickie nibbles. It worked though.
We watched Whale Rider
in the evening. I thought it was amazing. In some ways it was slow-moving
but it still held my attention. I definitely recommend it.
