Faol had a Drs. appointment to check out the healing of his arm, and he and I were going with the intention of Joyful staying and getting some work done. We couldn’t find the Drs office. They had moved and we didn’t realize they had shifted cities by crossing the line between two towns. Anyway we gave up and have to reschedule the appointment. We dropped by a Garden center to get Zoysia El Toro grass for the yard. They told us it would take about two months to be ready, three months ago, and it was still not ready. They said another couple weeks. So we returned home having accomplished nothing. Joyful was out on a walk and had not done the vacuuming or any of her phone calls either.
Faol needed to nap so I layed down with him. I actually managed to get about an hour’s sleep before the phone woke us. It was a telemarketer. But we had a little time before he had to leave for work so we made love quickly. While he was getting dressed for work he had a severe back twinge that basically laid him out on the bed grimacing. Afterwards he was in shock a bit, floaty. His left arm and leg was somewhat numb. Needless to say he didn’t make it to work. But after some time passed he was able to move about and we decided to go off to a matinee movie with Joyful driving. We saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which I enjoyed very much.
We took some pictures of our various dyads so that Joyful and I would have pics of Faol with each of us. Leaving the parking lot Joyful scraped a pillar. Faol didn’t lose his temper but was pretty controlled about it. Faol wanted pizza so we went looking for a pizza place but couldn’t find one that we could get to easily what with all the traffic. We wandered around for a bit and finally got home about 8 pm. We started watching SF Friday while Faol searched the Internet for a pizza place. Here it is almost 50 min. later and he hasn’t been able to find what he is looking for. Sigh… I ate lunch about 11 am and except for the popcorn haven’t had anything else to eat.
Food eventually did arrive. It was quite good, probably more so because I
was starving by then. Unfortunately while we were waiting there was major
emotional drama. Joyful was upset that we had come back and watched TV while
she was upset about the car accident and whatever had passed between she and
Faol out in the drive. I came in to give them some privacy so don't know what
happened. Much processing and drama ensued that left me feeling exhausted
and distressed.
