Tom stayed up late last night and the light from the living room and the empty place in the bed had my sleep irregular and frequently interrupted. But I got up and did my meditation and exercises, then got the dishes done so that they would actually get done since we were going out to pick up Vivre Draco and I knew I wouldn’t feel like it when we got home. When I hadn’t heard from Faol by 11 am I called him since I knew we wouldn’t be back before he left for work. He was on the phone but got off quickly and we were able to talk for an hour before I had to hang up.
I drove to my son’s house but experienced cramping in my right hand after about 30 minutes. Tom took off the brace for me as I thought perhaps the position the splint was holding my hand in was not working well for driving. And I guess that I was right as it gradually stopped hurting though I also drove one handed for a bit trying to rest it. Later in the evening I noticed that although my index finger had been better in the morning it was worse again.
Vivre Draco wasn’t ready, in fact he had not even taken a shower yet though we had called him as we were leaving. Sigh… So we sat down and watched 1 1/2 episodes of Beastmaster, which we enjoyed. His roommate, Karen, came in and watched them with us, which was nice. I like her. Eventually he was ready to go and we headed back towards home. We had a few errands to run, (pick up cactus soil, buy some food to feed Vivre Draco, pick up the trial of hormone replacement therapy for me, drop off the movies we rented for our anniversary) then home in time for me to make dinner. The men brought in a few boxes from the barn.
After dinner he went through the three or four boxes in only 20 minutes,
saying that it was all Lebleu’s except for a few things. We spent the
evening watching some of the pilots for the fall TV season, then they went
out and brought in 12-15 boxes for Vivre Draco to go through tomorrow. I had
only expected to get through about 3 boxes anyway so am pleased at how fast
it seemed to go. I hope that Lebleu is just as fast. Perhaps he will say that
most of it is Vivre Draco’s in which case I am going to take up the
offer of a friend and let her take them off our hands. She will go through
the items for saleable items and otherwise get rid of the junk. And I will
have them gone:) Of course, that is assuming the offer still stands as I don’t
know what her current situation is for time and interest. But we will see.
