Clop, Clop

Tom woke up early today. He said he heard a clopping. When I got up about 10 minutes later he told me that there had been a horse on our deck. The neighbor’s horses got out and wondered up to our place. Tom called him and I watched him trying to get them back. One was tethered to a tree but the other one just kept gaily trotting to the back of the orchard to avoid him, then returned to its buddy at the tree, then off again. Our neighbor had a bucket of grain and a lead. He sauntered about not looking at the horse pretending he wasn’t at all interested but the one still free was not fooled. Eventually he just took the one he had and led it down the driveway and the other one followed behind. I have no idea how long it took him to get them back in their paddock. Rural entertainment :)
I got my rehabilitative exercises done along with my meditation, and took my first HRT pill. Joyful called and we spoke for several hours while I did the dishes, then crushed the grapes and hung them (with Tom’s help) to drain. I am looking forward to using it for part of my juice fast. She had been blocked on the story we are writing together so we talked about that a bit and she is going to try some more this week. Faol didn’t call today or called while I was on the phone. Since we shifted to talking less we had agreed that we would talk M, W, F, and a weekend day. We talked yesterday because we couldn’t talk on Monday as he wasn’t home from the Mysteries of Extangela yet. But we agreed that we would go ahead and talk today. I knew that during the two weeks Raven is home that I can’t count on Faol to call any time in particular but I was still hoping.
Vivre Draco finally woke up and we had a very nice discussion on the reasons
for air-east instead of air-north. Afterward I asked him whether it had been
a Paganism related discussion or a gaming one. He said gaming. Ah well. I
thought it was likely but would have enjoyed his getting involved more with
Paganism. But whatever works for him, I guess. Now we are getting some entertainment
transferred from his computer to ours but it turns out that he didn’t
have as much for us as he thought. Somehow the files that we got last time
didn’t get deleted from his computer so much of what he had we had already
gotten. Darn! Luckily we are into the new show season so we will have a few
new things to check out. We watch a lot of the new ones for the first episode
or two to see whether we are going to watch them regularly or not. Generally
there are one or two new ones that we like, a few older ones that have been
renewed, and the older ones that have gone off the air that we really like
so that we end up at about the same level as before.
