I woke up a bit early again today and more or less got moving. Paying attention to time I see that my rehabilitation exercises and calisthenics are taking me about an hour to do now. And I have kind of dropped aerobic exercises because of the time factor so this morning when I took the compost out I left the bucket at the top of the drive and took a very brisk walk down the hill to the gate and back. It only takes about 7-10 minutes but it is up hill on the way back. I made it all the way up the hill without slowing substantially. It isn’t a lot of aerobic exercise but better than nothing. When I got back in I also did the dishes right away so that I would extend the up and moving about time.
Now I am sitting down again and having computer/email time but I want to try and pay attention to it so that in about an hour I get up and do some other thing about the house that is off the computer and preferably off my butt.
Mood managing is happening in the form of the radio this morning. I seem
to go through cycles of putting it on during the day or part of the day to
lift my spirits with music, and wanting peace and quiet. For the most part
I can’t take a lot of sound around me all the time. It is draining for
me but in the right mood or as a deliberate act to alter mood it works.
