Hormone Hassels

Monday September 26, 2005

I woke up early from uneasy dreams of being chased by someone intending to kill me and the car breaking down while I was trying to get away. Not emotional enough to be a nightmare but not very pleasant either. When I went to make tea I saw that all of the dishes were done. There was not one dirty dish on the counter or in the sink. Tom had done them all before bed. It was such a wonderful treat and lifted my spirits.

When I finished meditating I discovered I was having breakthrough bleeding/menstruating, which I was pretty sure should not be happening on HRT so I called my Dr. I was told it wasn’t a good thing and I should stop taking it right away. He also suggested that I could go for a pelvic ultrasound or a Gynecological exam. I wasn’t thrilled about all this so called a Gyno. The nurse told me it was not that unusual but that I should still have an exam. She also said that there was a lower dose that I should probably start with so I have an appointment to see the nurse practitioner tomorrow. Hopefully I can just try the lower dose and continue.

Faol called as we were about to go out to the barn to work but since I don’t know when I can get a chance to talk with him while Raven is there I talked with him first. We had a lovely conversation and dreamed about buying a place together. We looked at a real estate site I had found and talked about the places that the search turned up. They were all in the middle of Oregon pretty far from Portland but Faol is more interested in staying near northern CA so was happy with the area. Anyway we had fun dreaming.

Afterwards Tom and I headed out to get milk but a tree was blocking the driveway so back to the house and Tom got the chainsaw and took care of it. By the time we went back out and came home he was tired from moving the wood and I was feeling a little drained from having a period, cramps, etc. So we never did get to work on the barn room.

I made dinner then did a load of dishes while it was cooking. And that is mostly it for the night although I am doing a free teleseminar in a few minutes.
