Guacamole

We went shopping in the morning. When we got back Faol wanted to share the email he was writing to his newest interest then I did an astrological comparison between them. His back was cramping, he calls it twinging, so he didn’t feel up to going into work. Joyful called to talk with me but since he was home they talked. It was a bit too much for me after spending so much time on his latest interest to have him on the phone with another woman, even Joyful, without some time for us. He told me he would only talk a short time. I got a hot bath started for him and he soaked. After a bit he got off and I sat with him chatting. It was nice, a time of connecting for us. When he got out he decided to take a nap and was happy when I told him I was coming with him. I was amazed to discover that we took nearly a two-hour nap. Obviously we both needed it.

Later we watched some old black and white movies on tv, Cat People, 7th Victim, and a zombie one. He had told Joyful he would call her back and talk for a bit longer since with her temp job they can’t talk during the week right now so I suggested that he do it before Lost came on. While he did that I called Tom.

When I was done talking with Tom I suggested to Faol that we might want to make the guacamole before settling down to watch Lost so we could snack on it then. So he got off the phone and joined me in the kitchen. He cleaned off the kitchen table then squeezed the avocados out of the skin unto the table and mashed them with his hands. He squeezed a lemon onto them, added tomatoes, and salt and mixed them all up, again with his hands. It was very entertaining and yummy to eat. He offered me a hand to lick off ;) We watched Lost and Invasion together while having corn chips and the home made guacamole, and it was fun.
