Down Day

Sunday November 13, 2005

I woke up dragged out and depressed. I suppose it was from the wine and the late night but I managed to avoid getting out of my warm furry robe until late afternoon. We watched a DVD of Oklahoma with Hugh Jackman as Curly. Tom wasn’t very interested to begin with but got drawn in anyway. I enjoyed it very much. It lifted my spirits while we watched it and for a very short time afterwards but they drooped again when I remember that the garbage had to be taken out to the street. I brought the car up to the house and Tom came out to put the garbage can in the back. He drove it to the barn to get a can of the barn garbage while I took out the compost. It was cold and windy and grey, which suited my mood. Faol says that I am weather sensitive though and often asks me if it is cloudy here if I am in a low mood. Mostly I am unhappy that I am going back out so soon. There is much I would like to get done here that now must be put on hold for three weeks. It will be winter when I return so nothing more is likely to get done in the barn. The storage room will have to wait til spring for me to restart the project of creating a space for me to use during my fasts.
