Drama

They both had a chiropractor’s appointment in the morning so we were up and out early. I sat in the massage chair and waited for them. Wow! what a chair! I would love one, just not for $1500. Joyful’s appointment took something like 2 hours so we didn’t get time to go shopping.

Afterwards we stopped at the vegetarian fast food and I ordered the African quesadilla. I had an odd little emotional hiccup. It was too messy to just pick up the whole thing and it was incompletely cut through. I tried to cut it and couldn’t manage it. It was suggested that I go and get them to cut it and I was at a low sugar point or something and just couldn’t deal with it. So I wrapped it back up and said I would take it home, cut it and eat it there. Faol asked if it would be ok if he took care of it and went and got it cut. He was quite careful in the way he asked, obviously very aware of my strange emotional reaction. I was totally relieved that he would deal with it. And I felt very taken care of. When he brought the food back I ate the first quarter like I was totally ravenous. It tasted great! By the second quarter I was done. I don’t know what happened but I have more sympathy for people who are hypoglycemic. My emotional resources had completely evaporated, although at least I didn’t snap at anyone.

Afterwards we went back home and all three of us laid down for a nap. Faol had a short time before he had to leave for work but we had a chance to make love before he left. Yippee! Unfortunately there was a tiff between the two of them as he was leaving. So Joyful and I ended up processing for some time before I could go and meditate. Otherwise the day went pretty well. Joyful had to get ready for her flight on Thursday so was busy doing laundry and packing. Christina and I watched "Lost" and "Invasion" with Joyful getting to see part of it before having to get back to her task. It was a nice girl’s evening in.

Faol came home and we waited for Joyful to finish packing and getting ready to leave in the morning while entertaining ourselves with looking at potential kitchen cabinetry for his eventual remodel of that room. She fell asleep on the bed downstairs so we woke her up to offer the opportunity to go upstairs with us or stay where she was. We were all tired and went off to bed. It turned out to be a difficult night with much drama necesitating my removal to the downstairs sofa for a few hours. I had enough drama to last a long time.
