Whole Lotta Processing

Friday November 18, 2005

Well when Faol got home he was too tired for us to make love so we started a movie on "video on demand" then when we just couldn't stay up any longer stopped it and went to bed. We are really loving the feature that lets us just pick up again right where we left off with a movie.

We woke up early for his chiropractor appointment. They have a food donation special where bringing $20 worth of food for the food pantry gets a free evaluation and one treatment so we stopped to buy food so I could get the free treatment.

I always find these kinds of things interesting, physical evaluations I mean, well those that don't involve needles or pain anyway. The intern manipulated my body, had me make various motions and tell him what hurt and where. He tapped my reflexes, poked, prodded, etc. And finally did some adjusting. He also did some trigger point work on my neck and my shoulder blades. I felt a little giddy afterwards and felt a lot less pain. The slight headache that I had was considerably lessened.

Faol and I have been doing better this trip so far. We are both feeling more appreciative of the other and that and very possibly the HRT is resulting in an increased expression of our sexual connection, which has been wonderful. We have weathered the difficult situation that developed the other day and we are reveling in our connection.

We made love again before he left for work and it was *very* good. I called Tom right after Faol left and we processed the difficult situation for some time. It was good to talk with him and we ended up speaking for an hour and a half. Joyful called in the middle to say that Gloria has pre-eclampsia and will be having labor induced tomorrow. I called her back after Tom and I hung up. We talked for about an hour and a half while I soaked in a tub of nice hot water. The conversation went ok and we will have to see how it goes in the future.

When we hung up Christina and I talked for some time. She really needed to vent over the problems she has been having – she had a serious car accident, then had to move out of her apartment the same week; moved out here for a job only to get here and have the job evaporate, and now she has been out of work for two months with no job in site. She is going to friend’s in San Diego to work at a Starbuck’s. It’s been a tough time for her.
