Sleepy

When Faol got home last night we watched Sahara. I thought I had not seen it but when it started I recognized it so apparently I have. In fact, I think I might have seen it with Faol. I wonder if I searched my journal if I would come up with a reference to seeing it with him :) Anyway we were enjoying it but I kept falling asleep. The first time Faol asked me when I had fallen asleep and I replied that I didn’t know. How would I know, after all? I just slipped away. He asked if I had seen the red algae and I had so it turned out I had just fallen asleep. But it kept happening. At first he poked me, nibbled on my ear, stroked my cheek, etc. trying to keep me awake but it was clear that it was not going to work so we went to bed. It was 2 am by then.

This morning he woke up about 6 am worrying about the insurance bill, which he had let slip and was now late. I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal since it was only a couple of days late but he was really worried about it being cancelled because the last time he was late they did. However, he was significantly late then not just a couple of days. We have been doing very well with his credit rating by putting payments on automatic so he wouldn’t be chronically late anymore. But this one bill doesn’t do automatic payments.

I got up about 8 am intending to start the day despite being dragged out but he was going back to bed and I went with him. We did manage to get a bit more sleep. We made love briefly then he fell back asleep again. And I got up and got my day going. He woke up about an hour later and was about to take a bath when the phone rang.

The Spicy lady had something she wanted to talk to him about one of her relationships. It was interesting. It was good to hear from her. It delayed our getting out to the insurance company to pay an overdue bill though so we didn’t get to Ikea. But it was a discussion that needed to happen. We will manage to go lamp buying next week I imagine.

When Faol got home from work he ran a bath while we talked and I brought my laptop in to set up on a stool. He got me a pillow. We settled down and tried the sound but I knew it was not going to work. So up I got to get the earbuds. And we finished Sahara while he lay in the hot water and I sat next to the tub. Afterward we just hied ourselves off to bed. For us lately it was early, only 1 am.
