Faol had a chiropractor’s appointment this morning but when he got up he wasn’t feeling well. He decided to cancel it and go back to bed for a while. I tucked him in and caressed his brow and he was asleep. He got back up again in time to take me to my hair appointment and I finally got the hair out of my eyes, though I am not sure that I really like the cut. Robert played games with words and definitions. I told him I didn’t want bangs and he basically said that bangs are horizontal and he got my hair vertically on an angle so that some of the hair is shorter and falls to the front. But he claims that isn’t a bang, technically. And perhaps he is right in terms used for hair care but it is bangs as far I am concerned. It will grow out and be in my eyes again.
We stopped at the Brite Spot for a quick lunch before Faol headed off to work. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. Faol took half of it to work with him for dinner along with a bit of his breakfast quesadilla.
This afternoon, for the most part, I packed for the camping trip we are taking when Faol gets home from work. I have my suitcase packed, vitamins put in a small container, bedding laid out, pillows stacked, cheese sliced and packaged, chai brewing to put in small bottles, a list of items we need to pick up on our way out, toiletries packed, etc. Faol will still need to pack his things when he gets home and make sure that we have all the camping gear but we could get out right away, if he gets home and isn’t too tired. He might need to get a nap first.
It took a couple of hours to pack his stuff and check the camping gear. Then he wanted us to watch a ½ hour of Twilight Zone after we were ready and could have gotten on our way. I was annoyed but tried to set it aside.
Once we got driving his back was bothering him and he was angry about it.
I laid back in the seat and tried to sleep. I wrapped up in a blanket but
I was quite cold anyway. He kept opening the window because he was sleepy.
It made me cold but it was more important for him to be able to be awake.
He drove several hours then stopped in a rest area and slept for several hours
then went on.
