Catch Up Productivity

Wednesday November 30, 2005

We went to Faol’s appointment with the Workman’s comp Dr. and waited an hour to be seen. Luckily I brought a book with me. At least they gave him authorization for 4 more chiropractic treatments, a prescription for a seat wedge for his car, (which the chiropractor will order and is therefor covered by the insurance), and a cane to help him get about. They also gave him extra strength Ibuprofen, very large pills, and a pain reliever called Ultram. Hopefully it will help him since it seems to be something that he could use while he is at work, unlike all the others due to the potential for drowsiness.

I filled the rice container, the spelt container, washed the corn meal container so that I could refill it, stripped the bed and washed the sheets, washed the last blanket from our camping trip, remade the bed, put together the second lamp and got it upstairs. It is plugged into the switched outlet so now a light comes on when we turn on the switch by the door. I got a couple of hours of entering receipts, did a load of dishes, washed 2/3s of the bathtub (couldn’t quite do it all before my wrists started acting up), washed the bathroom sink, and made sausage gravy (used veggie sausage). Hopefully the next couple of days will be equally as productive as I only have a few more days here. I like to leave things in pretty good shape when I leave. It doesn’t last long, I know, but at least there is some order here for a bit after I leave.
