Shock to the System

Well I am home again. Tom met me at the airport with my down coat, gloves,
hat, and scarf. My boots were in the back of the car just in case. I had to
pull the scarf up over my nose as it was too cold to breathe. Going from 60's
as the low temperature to 4 degrees in
December, yet! was definitely a shock to my system.
I have more or less adjusted to seeing snow out my window instead of palm
trees and plants in bloom. I like the snow but it is too cold for daily walks
at least for me. But I am home again and am surrounded by windows looking
out on trees and that makes up for a lot.
