Arrggghhh!!!

This morning Tom and I have trying to eliminate a bordered rectangle that appears on my pages in Netscape because it doesn't handle stylesheets properly. With MSIE I can set up pretty buttons but the same codes don't work in Netscape. I narrowed down the problem then Tom found a way to make the rectangle go from a full screen to a tiny box beneath the button by commenting out the padding setting in the style sheet. It makes the word on the button in MSIE move up to the middle of the button instead of the bottom under the pic but it is acceptable. However, that still doesn't eliminate the smaller box under the button in Netscape. ARGGGHHH!!!! This is incredibly frustrating!

LeBleu suggested that I add a HREF code in the button code because Netscape would ignore the button code and display the link. So this is what I spent all afternoon doing. I added three links to the three buttons on each and every one of the 40 some subpages of my journal and the Oakwind pages. Then I paged through all the pages in Netscape and MSIE again, to try and catch any errors I might have made in the link code. I corrected the ones I saw and hope I didn't miss anyone. Hopefully this has solved the problem now.

Yesterday we hosted Starwhite and Arthur. It was good to see them again. I have had the opportunity to visit Starwhite at other festivals and met Arthur a couple of years ago at a Grow Closer Festival. We were also delightfully surprised by the arrival of another guest, GentleOak, who is also a nestie from the Internest. We have never met before but I discovered that she lives only a few hours north of us. She is only an hour away from another CAW member, Jack, who is interested in getting something started in his area.
