We spent the day moving Kevin and Tracey, my son and his partner. They moved to Madison and we went to their current place and helped load the moving truck. It was the most unorganized move we have ever participated in. But we got it all done, drove down to Madison, unloaded the truck, and got home much earlier than we expected. Every time we do this, though, it seems to get harder and harder. I was really wiped out. I think it was the second floor apartment that did it though. I went up and down those stairs so many times. Luckily my knees were not acting up for a change. Tom and I went right into the hot tub when we got home. I am amazed at how much it helps.
Kevin and Tracey, however, had to drive back up to return the truck, then drive back down again with a carload. They still have a lot of work to do. They were bickering some too. The stress of the extremely long commute and the circumstances surrounding the move seem to have taken a toll. I hope they both are able to chill out soon. But it will be nice to have them nearer. I am looking forward to seeing them more often.
