Alone at Last!

We shipped off my youngest son, Firefly who is 18 and not yet out of the house, to visit his older brother for the weekend. Our 30th anniversary is Tuesday and since I don't get home form school on Tuesdays til 7:30 pm, we won't be celebrating it that day. We figured this weekend was a better choice (I would have been at the Mysteries if they had not been postponed till next year and we would have celebrated next weekend.)

Our major celebrations are kind of in a rut in that we usually do the same thing. If possible, we ship off children (or remaining child), buy foods like stuffed clams, frozen fried cheese and fried mushrooms, strawberries, kiwi, bananas, grapes, and frozen egg rolls, frozen chicken tenders, etc. That way we can rather quickly heat up finger foods in the microwave for our meals, and essentially nibble between periods of sex. Then we spend a day cuddling, nibbling, making love.

We also rent an erotic movie though I am less and less interested in that as it is difficult to find ones that satisfy my interests - I actually prefer plot and character development with my erotic scenes and I don't like to watch anyone demean another person in any way. But I prefer the erotic scenes to be explicit. So although I really liked "Goodbye Emma Jo" for its plot and relationship building scenes, the sex scenes, while very nice, were, for me, not explicit enough. Possibly because it was intended for Lesbians, although a strap on was used there were no shots of the dildo actually attached or entering, in fact no shots of the genitals at all.

If I didn't also have school work I would be making love now before we have to pick up Firefly this afternoon:) Unfortunately I also choose to keep up with my schoolwork as much as possible. Anyway this afternoon we are planning on going to Olbrich Gardens in Madison. Despite living in the area for about 16 years we have never been to them. I hope it stops being gray and rainy so we can do it today.
