On Tuesday first I went for a walk and found a tree stand on the corner of our property. So I obsessed about whose it was for half the walk. I tend to be somewhat territorial about our land and worry about trespassers. We have had people hunting on the land without permission before. This stand could be one owned by the people that we let hunt here but since I didn't know I worried. As I walked I also found a third possible site for the Shrine for the Unborn or those who died very young.
I spent time in the morning drawing images from the previous day's trance. I am not very good at it but I enjoyed doing it. And in the drawing of it I got a bit more information - I discovered a small opening under the tree between roots and trunk.
After lunch, yesterday, Tom and I went food shopping so I didn't get to do any of the rest of my priestess training program.
Today I did a shamanic journey using the tree from Monday's trance. I went down instead of up and looked for a guide that I had encountered in another shamanic journey. I didn't have any drums to use and I really missed them. I need to get a trance drumming tape. Anyway I did find my guide and had an interesting journey. She showed me 3 dance steps and told me that my power is in the dance. So tomorrow I plan to work with the three steps and see if I can develop it further.
Then we emptied the hot tub and I cleaned it out. It needed to be leveled. When it was set up the first time they didn't level it correctly and the water kept going over one side if there were more than three people in the hot tub. So we jacked it up and pulled stones out from one side. After putting it pack down we shoved it back and forth to reseat it and checked the level. We ended up doing this three times trying to get it level. That tub is heavy! By the time we did this I was sore and tired but it still wasn't level. It was much much better though so we called it good enough and refilled it. Tomorrow it will be hot again. Afterwards we folded the Nest to Nest issues and got them ready to mail tomorrow. But I didn't get a chance to do the rest of my priestess training classes today either.
