I got up early, loaded the car, and headed out to Phoenix' house to pick her up. I took the first shift. It went well, uneventful. We talked some and were quiet a lot too. She drove the Indianapolis leg, which I was grateful for. I don't do well with cities, though she didn't think it was bad at all.
When we got to Lothlorien and Grow Closer we went to set up our tents. It was hot and humid, miserably hot. By the time I finished setting up my tent, setting up my bedding, and arranging things the sweat was pouring down into my eyes and nose and mouth. I was light-headed and so drained that I don't think even F. could have aroused me. (Well, not easily anyway. Ok, so I might have been aroused but I wouldn't have had the energy to do anything about it.) I definitely prefer getting help when the temperatures are like this. Usually people help me but we were here early and there weren't too many others around. I didn't feel strong but I did it any way.
I got some water and Alyse provided me with dinner so that I recovered some. I had cold Salmon and barley salad. It was quite good. We sat and talked and caught up some. I went to bed early feeling headachey. I really miss my new love. I wanted to call him but I only have about 45 min. on the cell phone so I am trying to wait another day. I think I miss him more knowing that I could call him but am trying to space out the times I am in touch with him to provide the least length of time without that.
