This has been an interesting week, somewhat productive. Tom has been working in Madison so I have been alone all day. And he comes home very tired so we haven't been interacting quite as much as usual when he is home. But I have been getting up with him, doing my exercises, making a list of chores to get done, and doing most of them. I have also been taking a walk in the afternoon. So I got some of the clutter behind the TV cleaned up and put away, dusted the TV and the altar on top of the TV, cleaned out the hall closet (but now have several boxes and a pile of old coats sitting in the living room for me to deal with tomorrow), collected a couple bags of clothes for Goodwill, vacuumed, cleaned sinks and toilet, went through a couple of boxes of old romance novels and got rid of all but a couple, and spent a lot of time working with astrology. And I had two visitors this week: Terry, who sometimes comes to our open events, and Jack. Terry had a job interview in the area and dropped by. I did an impromptu astrological session with him. That was fun. And Jack and I got to catch up and hot tub. That was fun, too.
Our computer line went out yesterday afternoon and I have had to connect using the voice line, download email, then get off so couldn't do anything on the web:( But today the phone company came out and it is working again, now. Luckily it wasn't a problem in our house so we didn't have to pay for it. I went to Astrolabe on the web and ordered the update to the astrological calculation program that I use. I use Solar Fire and enjoy it quite a bit. It sounds like Solar Fire 5 will be even better. It has been quite a while since I got the first one though so mine is pretty out of date. But at least the updates are cheaper than buying it new. And I am getting the ACS Atlas with that, which will replace the mini-atlas I have currently. The new version does eclipses and has more asteroids and allows adding more points. This makes it more versatile and customizable. I am very much looking forward to getting it and playing with it. Now if it just didn't take two weeks to deliver.
Tomorrow Tom and I need to go and do all our Yule shopping, wrap and get everything ready to mail, see about getting boxes so that we can continue to clean out the kids room, probably do some minimal food shopping, and find some time to relax. I am sure that I have forgotten something that we ought to be doing.
I have been drawing a daily tarot card this week, which has been interesting. Today I got the 5 of pentacles and was wondering what self-worth, isolation, or poverty issues were going to come up. But instead I seem to be exceptionally tired now. I had not really thought of that card as including the idea of just being tired so it a little something new to add to my understanding of it. I have been working more with tarot again since getting involved with F. and R., most likely because they are professional tarot readers and psychics. It sparked my interest in it again.
