We got up and got moving today as I had things to do. I made a 7-layer salad yesterday so it could sit overnight. I made carrot apple raisin salad too. I spent some time going over the ritual we were doing later that night and getting things ready for that. They finally pulled up about the time they had said they would, perhaps a bit later. Watching F. walk to the door was a rather powerful experience. I was so happy to see him. He came in the door and caught me up in his arms, kissed me before he was fully inside, and then slowly moved us both out of the doorway. After a moment he reached over to shake hands with Tom while still kissing me. That made me laugh and I broke away from him to introduce him. M. came in after that and I got a wonderful hug from her too.
Tom gave them the tour. Stand in the middle of our house and turn around and you can see all the rooms. Shortly after that Jack showed up. It was great to have so many of the people I love all together for a change. I wish the others could have come as well.
M. wasn't feeling too well. We decided to go into the hot tub before circle and sat out for some time. She and I came in, followed by Tom but the other two stayed out longer, caught up in their discussion.
After dinner F. did a circle in his tradition then we did one in ours. It was very interesting to experience the differences. I also was very aware of developing magickal ties between us in addition to the love we all have. M. and I were together in his circle and I felt very connected to her. It was very special for me.
At bedtime I went in to cuddle with F. for a while. He was using our sleeping bag, which was zipped up. I wiggled into the bag with him. It was a very tight fit but we were able to get reasonably comfortable and he drifted off. After a couple of hours he needed to turn over so I attempted to wiggle back out and go to my bed. He had to grasp me under the arms and help haul me out.
