Boy what a difference a day makes, the one between yesterday and today. Today I spend 3 ½ hours filling out the web version of the application to the Graduate Admissions school at UW. I had already gathered up all the information I needed previously, and spent a relatively miserable week trying to write my statement of purpose/goals for grad study. And it still took all that time. Sigh… I decided to wait until tomorrow to begin the department application, which is not on the web. One can download it though and then use a word processor to fill it out but it has to be printed out and mailed. I had really hoped to get it all done and out before Mercury turned retrograde but that isn't happening. I am still missing one of my recommendations. She said she would get it out two weeks ago but I still haven't received it. I am getting pretty worried about it. Everything has to be in by the deadline or they won't consider me.
