Pandora's Box and Frustration

Tea&Talk went fine. It was active and vocal. There seemed to be a good mix of people. Several people came from the WIP list that had never been there before. It was great to meet them. The discussion group was very small but the topic was interesting - Daily Pagan Practice. I didn't get much chance to just chat though. Next time I think I will skip the discussion and stick with the chat.

I feel like I have a lot to do but I haven't done much today. Tracey loaned me her copy of Pandora's Box. It won't run on my machine and we have been very frustrated trying to get it to work. Apparently it won't work with Directx 7 but there is no way to uninstall it and use an earlier version. We can't find where it gets put, only the diagnosis program. We tried different drivers but that didn't work and now we don't know whether those drivers were older or newer than the ones I had before. I think they are actually older. It has been very annoying. However, eventually Tom got it working on the other laptop. It turns out to be an odd sort of game where the player works various style puzzles in an attempt to find certain pieces of the box, and the tricksters that escaped the box. There are about 10 puzzles per piece, 4 pieces per side, the trickster, and the trickster's challenge. It is very time consuming.
