My air mattress has a "slow" leak. I filled it up 3xs last night. It was bad enough that I was still awake at 1:30 AM, unable to sleep through the drums and energy even with earplugs, but when I finally dozed off I ended up waking cold and on the ground at 3:00 AM. I pumped up the mattress again (luckily with a battery operated pump) but it took me quite awhile to go back to sleep and I woke up at 6:00 AM nearly on the ground and with a sore neck from the position. I couldn't go back to sleep.
When I took the air mattress out of the car I saw some indentations from the lounger, which was on top of it and hoped that they didn't go in enough to actually leak but I couldn't tell. I am feeling bummed at the moment as I am not very good without a decent amount of sleep usually. But yesterday late afternoon Kira and Lyn arrived and I joined the crowd around them to bask in the pleasure of their company. They are lovely women, intelligent, and charming. I also got to meet Riverheart for the first time, and Sara, Mr. Bill, Savanah, Seawolf, Steve and Elle, and others. I am looking forward to connecting, to talking, to sharing, just not to the sleeping part with the leaky air mattress.
Sandy just walked by my tent. She is looking very good. It is really great to see everyone.
