On Saturday when we went to get the tent the door, which had been completely zipped when Tom left on Wednesday night, was unzipped about 6 inches and there was a crow feather on the welcome mat right in front of the door. That is the second Crow feather that I found in relationship to my vision quest.
It turned out that we had to postpone our Father's day celebration because our youngest couldn't get the day off. We are going to the children's for dinner then instead of them coming to ours. Instead we went out to shop for silcone spray for the tent, which needed to be washed inside and out because of the mildew and dirt. Once you wash it, there can be some loss in waterproofing. And we had to look for an eye for Hecate. We ended up buying small mirrors and some flower shaped sequins in case we couldn't find what I really thought would work. I did promise it by the New Moon. But we found a set of many, many marbles that had different sizes and colors. It had one large size marble that was black with a red cat's eye-style marking that I liked.
We set up the tent and Tom sprayed it down inside and out to wash the bugs and dirt off. We took it down as soon as it dried off because it was going to rain.
I have been depressed since I got back because I was attacked on Feedback for my opinion. It was a pretty nasty attack and no one defended me, none of the people that I have met face-to-face even said a word about the nastiness. I was even called an oathbreaker because someone didn't like my opinion. I felt like I had lost my community. It really hurt.
