Today we walked back to the Cauldron site to attach the eyes to the stone face. On the way there I found another Crow feather. That makes the third one related to the vision quest. I consider this still connected since I am fulfilling a promise made during my vision quest. That is very interesting considering that I only have found maybe one other Crow feather in the many years that we have been here. I have lots of feathers, turkey, ruffed grouse, blue jay, flicker, etc. but not Crow and they are very numerous here.
Tom also found a good branch down, dead, and dried to use for the wand of endings for the ancestral altar. We brought it home and I hope to work on that at the next waning moon cycle.
