I woke with a headache - perhaps the different pollens and took some Ibuprofen most of the day. That helped well enough. I woke up early and was welcomed into Maerian and Rob's bedroom (quite platonically, darn) and curled up with them in bed with my tea. We had a wonderful conversation going. Jack arrived from Mr. Bill's and joined the discussion but Rob had to go off to work. I can't believe how much all of us talked. Certainly there were political matters to discuss but we talked about a wide-ranging subject matter. It was a delight to be with people that not only shared interests but also had totally different interests to share.
Maerian and I went out to run errands, including food shopping for the retreat (which was quite expensive as we bought a *lot* of food), while Jack went into San Francisco to pick up Kris. She had a hotel room rented but Maerian suggested she stay with all of us as there was room. Since I wasn't using the air mattress and sleeping bag I had brought, we had bedding for her too. So she set up in Robyn's room with us. Of course, adding another person meant that we had more to talk about. One of the things that I really enjoyed about this trip was the many marvelous conversations, some with the group and some with individuals.
Later in the afternoon or evening, I am writing this after the fact and don't quite remember, Orion arrived. It was good to see him again.
