Well, the actual clergy retreat was finally beginning. Oberon arrived and everyone got up to greet him warmly. It was a good beginning. There were difficult times, and painful things to hear, yet everyone listened and tried to stay open. In the end a resolution that could be accepted by all was reached. Oberon retired with the title of Founding Priest, retired. He will be concentrating on writing his book and working on his creative projects that he hasn't had the time to do. As a postulant, not a member of the clergy, I was not actually involved in the discussions that took place, though a witness to them. I spent much of the time visualizing sitting under my Namesake tree on Oakwind land, looking out at the grass and bushes and other trees, all glowing with life. I felt rooted and energized.
