Tom has an appointment in town in regards to his recent project (yay, he's got work). I am prone to let things lay around for several days rather than unpack right away but this time I got up and got moving. I unpacked, started my laundry, and caught up on email. Then I heard the water spitting as the pressure gave out. The water pump stopped working. I called Tom at work to let him know. He suggested that I check the circuit breaker, which I already had, and bang gently on the pressure switch, which had no observable effect. Still no water. Well, so much for getting my laundry done and everything put away. When Tom got home he cleaned the contacts and we had water again. I have to get him to show me how to do that so I can do it myself. He tells me that the pressure switch is pretty shot and will need to be replaced soon.
One of my nestmates came over this afternoon with a friend of ours to have photos taken of herself in our orchard, around our Namesake Oak, etc. One of the shots will be used for an album cover as she is going to record a CD of her songs for friends. She brought several changes of costume and a large bouquet of flowers. When she left she divided the flowers and left me with a lovely arrangement that I have on my altar now.
