Interesting Idea

Friday May 18, 2001

Today is a Tea&Talk day so I worked on getting out the Belsummer schedule and flyers to take, printed out copies of announcements that people had emailed me, and started collecting all the stuff to take. I also spent a lot of time starting to clear out old emails. Now that is a chore.

Another person posted on what they want from clergy. It was rather interesting. Their idea was that they wanted to hear about the individual paths that the clergy are walking, what they are working on spiritually, what excites them about it, etc. In this way members would have a sense of what their clergy are doing on a spiritual level. I think it is a good idea although I am not sure how it should be done. Perhaps a quarterly post to the CAW lists about the previous quarters spiritual work from the clergy would be sufficient to give members a sense that clergy do indeed have their own path and their own work.

Tina was on ICQ yesterday and today. I was delighted to have the chance to catch up with her. Now that I have had the opportunity to get to know her better I really wish she was still in the Midwest, though not in OH cuz that is far enough away that I wouldn't see her any more than I do now with her in CA. Ah well. Someone is just going to have to get rich enough to create a CAW enclave/community so that we can actually be physically present with one another.
